Position: Project Architect
Job Details:
Gensler is looking for Project Architects to join our San Francisco Architecture Studio! We are currently working on a number of exciting projects, both local and international, and are looking for top talent to assist us during this busy time! We are looking for architects with at least 7 years of experience.
The Project Architect will be responsible for:
Organizing and managing project teams and individual assignments.
Ensuring production of contraction documents are aligned with the design intent.
Coordinating between teams and projects and their associated consultants.
Managing project timelines and schedules.
Coordinating with and representing the firm to obtain approvals from clients and state and local agencies having jurisdiction over projects.
Resolution of complex technical and design issues as they arise.
Team guidance and leadership.
Serving as a technical mentor to other team members.
Qualifications/Requirements:
The ideal candidate must meet the following qualifications to be considered:
Must be a licensed Architect.
Possess extensive knowledge of building codes, standards and structures.
A minimum of 7 years Project Architect experience.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with a team.
Strong leadership abilities and the ability to manage teams and projects.
Strong organizational skills.
